On Behalf of the executive and members of Australian National Truck Racing Organisation we would like to thank all competitors, volunteers, spectators and race circuits throughout Australia for making 2009 another successful year for Super Truck racing. With financial turmoil it was extremely pleasing to see our racing category provide on average up to 98% of the total competitive trucks that raced in 2008. This is a significant effort considering the logistics of  touring through four different states in nine months with equipment that requires considerable effort to transport.

2009 has seen the demise of several car racing categories which is unfortunate but shows we can still provide fantastic racing that is associated with our category.

2010 sees Super truck racing administering rule changes and providing a much greener footprint for both competitors and spectators alike with the re introduction of bio diesel as a proffered means of fuel. These steps will be some of many taken to improve value to all that are associated with the sport.

The success of the 2009 series could not have been possible without the massive effort of the Antro executive and committee especially Stan Seton the previous President of the organisation. For those that know Stan  knows the considerable effort that he applies to his beloved sport as well as managing his own business interests and the wellbeing of his lovely wife Robin. Stans previous efforts have created a solid platform for Super truck racing to continue to prosper. It was fitting to see Stan preside over the final meeting at Oran Park in 2009, being a major contributor of bringing previous drivers and teams back together for the last time at this venue.

At this stage I wish all a very merry and safe Christmas break and look forward to seeing all at some stage through the 2010 series.
